The Craft Room gave us an indoor space that still felt creative and textured. It’s not a blank studio, which helped everything feel a little more relaxed and less posed. I loved the paint can heart wall, the perfect backdrop for her colorguard uniform and flag. The directional light and Anna’s confidence in our goals were incredibly fun to play with, and she was down to do anything I asked- even if it involved sitting on top of an art table.
MacGregor Park
MacGregor Park is one of the best spots for cottage core senior photos in Sheridan. It has enough variety that you don’t feel stuck in one look the whole time. There are open areas for movement, trees for softer light, and just enough space to let things happen naturally without feeling crowded. This is where the session really opened up, and we deliberately planned to spend the majority of our time. Walking through the trees, letting the dresses move, stopping and starting without overthinking it. It didn’t need much direction.
