Most families schedule maternity photos in the late second or early third trimester, when you’re feeling most like yourself with a clearly showing bump. If your timeline looks different, we will plan around it. The goal is simple. Photographs that feel true to you and this season.

You don’t need to be a model to have beautiful photos. My sessions focus on connection over posing with gentle prompts and natural movement, and package options that can suit just you, or include the whole family.

You don’t need to stress over outfits! I help with styling and suggestions to make sure you feel comfortable and gorgeous. You’ll have access to the Style and Select which will take all the guesswork out of styling yourself, plus suggest outfits that you feel amazing in..

When is the best time to take maternity photos?

The ideal time for maternity photos is between 28-34 weeks—your belly is beautifully round, but you’re still comfortable enough to move and enjoy the experience! I typically reccommend to aim a little earlier if this isn’t your first pregnancy, and later if it is.

Where will our session take place?

The sky is the limit when it comes to maternity photography! In-home maternity sessions feel intimate and relaxed. Outdoor sessions offer glowing sunset light and wide-open spaces around Indy, Carmel, and Westfield. Studio pregnancy pictures are perfect for just the pregnant person, and leans more towards a stripped down, editorial vibe. It’s all about what fits your vision best!

How far in advance should book a maternity photographer?

Weekends in Central Indiana tend to book out 4-6 weeks in advance, depending on what you are looking for and the time of year (pro tip: I may have more flexibility if weekdays work for you!). If you are hoping for peak fall color or spring blooms, reach out earlier so we can lock in the light you want.

Can my partner, kids, or pets be in my maternity photos??

Yes! Siblings and pets make maternity galleries extra special. I’ll guide moments to keep it fun and low-stress. Keepsake Collection photoshoots are Mom only.

What should I wear for maternity photos?

Choose pieces that make you feel incredible. Flowy dresses, soft knits, or a simple set that shows off your bump all photograph beautifully. You also get access to my styling tool, Style and Select , to make outfits simple for you and anyone joining.

I’m not feeling my best, should I still book?

Pregnancy is MAGIC, but I know it doesn’t always feel that way. My job is to capture your strength, love, and power, without the pressure or perfection. If you really feel like you need a little extra pampering, I can recommend some extraordinary local makeup artists. Either way, I promise- you’ll be SO glad you did this!
