These simple portraits capture all of your child’s personality traits- I encourage them to be silly and be themselves (and include a black and white copy of EACH photo)! With my clean seamless backdrop, your child's favorite outfit, and all the personality and fun- these aren't your average portraits! Short, relaxed sessions designed to highlight personality over perfection. No forced smiles, no pressure to perform, just honest expressions and real connection.
Personality Portraits are simple, clean studio portrait sessions photographed in my Sheridan, Indiana home studio, serving families from Westfield, Carmel, Cicero, and the surrounding areas. These sessions are all about giving kids the space to be themselves, whether that means laughing, wiggling, thinking quietly, or showing off a little silliness.
If you’ve ever worried about your child “behaving” for photos, this session was made for you.

How much are Personality Portrait Mini Sessions?
The session investment is $150. This includes your session, a proofing gallery, 5 images of your choice, color and black & white edits, and a print release.
What ages work best for these sessions?
These sessions are great for toddlers, kids, teens, and even adults. As long as they can sit or stand safely, we can create beautiful portraits.
Can siblings or parents be included?
Yes. The session includes up to two people, with the option to add more for $30 per person.
Can we bring props?
Personality portraits are meant to showcase your child's personality, so while I definitely would encourage you not to go crazy with a bunch of random items, I would say adding something sentimental to your child like a lovey, instrument, or sports equipment, or a fun moment like hats or sunglasses could add a fun element to your session!
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are 10 minutes. They’re intentionally short to keep things light, fun, and stress-free.
Where are these sessions located and who do you serve?
Sessions take place in my home studio (I’ll make you some coffee and your kids can meet our guinea pigs!) in Sheridan, Indiana. I serve families from Indianapolis, Carmel, Westfield, Cicero, Zionsville, Noblesville, and surrounding areas.
What to wear?
Think textures and patterns over words and emblems- avoid clothing with big pictures/images/logos, and aim for something with soft patterns, stripes, or a simple solid color is best. Knitted textures or waffle/woven tops add great visual interest without being distracting. Jeans or leggings are great, and I LOVE and encourage bare feet for these!
