Fall mini sessions are short, relaxed family photo sessions designed for families who want updated seasonal photos without committing to a full session. These are for the pumpkin-patch people, the golden-field people, the sunrise people, the “please just give me one good photo for the Christmas card before everyone needs snacks” people. A little cozy, a little playful, and very much centered around your family exactly as you are right now.
No stiff posing. No pressure to have everyone perfectly behaved. No pretending your toddler has suddenly become deeply invested in standing still near a tree. Just a quick, easy session with beautiful fall light, gentle guidance, a handful of connection-filled images, and enough structure to help the whole thing feel doable.

How much are Fall Mini Sessions?
Fall mini sessions are $300. This includes your 15-minute session, a fully edited proofing gallery, your choice of 5 digital images, and a print release. Full gallery upgrades are available.
Who can be included in these fall mini sessions?
These sessions are designed for immediate family only. They’re great for toddlers, kids, teens, and even adults. As long as they can sit or stand safely, we can create beautiful portraits.
Are 15-minute minis long enough for fall family photos?
For most families, yes. Mini sessions are short on purpose, but they are also structured and guided so we can make the most of the time. We’ll move quickly through the good stuff: everyone together, kids individually if time allows, siblings, parent-child moments, movement, snuggles, and a few classic smiling-at-the-camera photos.
If your child needs a long time to warm up, your family wants a slower pace, or you want a larger gallery with more variety, a full session may be the better fit.

Each location has a different feel, so you can choose the fall session that fits your family best: pumpkin patch, sunrise, golden park, or wooded fall color.
What if my kids don’t cooperate during fall photos?
They do not need to be perfect. Truly. Fall minis are designed for real kids with real feelings, real wiggles, and real opinions about socks.
I’ll guide the session with movement, play, connection, and simple prompts so your kids are not expected to stand still and perform for 15 minutes. A snack beforehand, realistic expectations, and talking about the session like something fun can help a lot.

Can we bring our dog to fall mini sessions?
Pets are welcome when the location allows, but please check before booking so we can make sure your chosen date and location are a good fit.
If your dog is joining, bring treats, a leash, and someone who can help if your pet needs a little break. Dogs add personality, movement, and occasionally complete nonsense to photos, which is honestly part of the charm..
Think cozy, comfortable, and coordinated instead of perfectly matching. Warm neutrals, earth tones, soft texture, denim, knits, muted colors, and layers all photograph beautifully for fall family photos.
You’ll also have access to Style & Select, which helps make outfit planning easier by giving you photo-friendly options and letting you coordinate looks visually. You do not have to buy all new outfits. You can absolutely use it as a guide and pull from what you already own.
